I love playing the role of a tourist in my own hometown! I recently visited the new Bloch Galleries at the Nelson Atkins Museum, and I cannot even begin tell you how beyond incredible they are! It is hard to believe that some of these paintings, drawings, and sketches are right down the street! I urge you to stop by for a visit!
My mom and I went on a date to the ballet recently, and again blown away by the talented artists we have here in our city! The KC Ballet is amazing. Here are a few snaps from our lovely day at the K (the Kauffman Performing Arts Center)!
Chris and I went on a tour of the Roasterie, and it was so fun! It definitely perked up my Sunday! The tour guide was hilarious and made everything fun! I learned A LOT about coffee, and the history of the Roasterie. Not only do I love that they are a local company, but they are unique with their process and they also put so much effort into literally every cup of coffee they make. I am craving a mocha right now as I type! Here are a few snaps of our tour!
